The Seattle Erotic Art Festival

Perhaps the greatest marker of our success is the now internationally recognized Seattle Erotic Art Festival, founded in 2002 to promote freedom of sexuality, speech and creativity through the erotic expression of fine art.  Through the Festival, we are able to reach beyond the Center's typical community to the general public and world.

The Festival strives to exhibit work that is not easily found in mainstream galleries and museums, that shows the diversity of human sexual expression and explores the vast creativity that artists use to approach their subjects. 

This year's event was a great success. We hope you enjoyed exploring the Cabinet of Curiosities with us. We featured hundreds of works of exhibition art; an expansive museum-quality Festival Store featuring thousands of small works, prints and related merchandise; the second year of our Literary Art Showcase; three nights of performance and installation art; and the return of our wildly popular Sunday Open House.

The ninth annual Festival will be held April 29 through May 1, 2011, at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall.  Save the date!
