What: Part 2 of a 3-part series - Make your negotiation hot, seductive and wickedly effective
Schedule: Saturday, March 13, 2010
When: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Where: In the main space
Who: 18+.
Cost: $40, or $110 for all three workshops

Description:

In late 2007 Max and Russell found themselves discussing topping models and what it takes to produce a good scene. They jotted down some notes and realized that they'd created the "Topping Skills" workshop they'd been looking for 15 years earlier.

Those notes became the widely acclaimed "Topping to the Next Level" series, presented in the spring of 2008.

Two years later, Max and Russell are pleased to offer a version 2.0 of the content they taught in 2008. These three workshops are a distillation of Max and Russell's experience over the last 18 years. They'll be discussing topping models, offering tools you can use to produce a good scene and sharing tips and tricks you can use to make your scenes more effective, more passionate and more powerful.

Part 2 - Hot Negotiation

Negotiation is much more than finding out what your bottom likes and doesn't like.

Negotiation is the foundation for the scene. It establishes consent, builds trust, sets a tone, creates expectations and develops boundaries.

With the right tools, it can also be hot, seductive and wickedly effective.

Topics we'll be covering include:

    • What is the real purpose of negotiation?
    • Where does the negotiation end and the scene start?
    • Negotiation objectives and how to meet them
    • When should your negotiation NOT lead to a scene?
    • Negotiation styles
    • Specific techniques for eliciting engagement, obtaining consent and gathering information
    • Demos and exercises to sharpen your negotiation skills

It's important to get the most out of your negotiations. Come explore which negotiation styles fit you and what works best for different situations.

Workshop Format

Because there's so much information to cover, the workshops will be primarily demo and lecture. There's no need to bring a practice partner, although we think this material is as valuable to bottoms as it is to tops. Bottoms - don't you want to know what your top is up to?

Handouts will be provided to jog your memory and to supply additional references.

While some topping experience will be helpful, the workshops are accessible to all skill levels and are applicable to all orientations / genders.

Workshop attendance does NOT require CSPC membership, and is open to all adults with ID.

Pre-registration is NOT required for this workshop.
